This week’s bit of musings:

Things that have entertained my brain this past week:
I hadn’t been to Griffith Park for a couple of years. Still lots going on…picnic in the park, the zoo, golfing, biking, running. If I lived around there I would probably start jogging. Lame excuse huh?
People are really serious about their golf at Griffith Park. The groundskeeper was especially serious about keeping ladies’ heels off his greens. Whoops! Yeah, I think we aerated this particular green for him before he stormed onto the course.
We had groomsmaids but no bridesmen.

Andrew hit a bucket of balls while waiting for the ceremony to begin. He was a little rusty…

Andrew’s father, a pastor, officiated the wedding. During his speech at the reception he said that marriage has taught him how to love. I still think about that.

Here’s one of me and Andrew from the photobooth. The photobooth is actually a 9ft. seamless background and a speedlight/lightstand/umbrella set-up. More pics from the booth will be posted soon.

Music news:
Alison Krauss, one of my favorite singers, won Album of the Year @ the Grammy Awards! Singing with Robert Plant tonight didn’t do her justice though. Her delicate voice was muted by his. If you don’t know about Alison click below:
It’s almost 3:20AM and I’m listening to old country music on Youtube. One video leads to another and yet another.

It was a pleasant surprise. Allen and his girl, C, both friends of Mackey, happened to be in the city at the same time we were so we rolled with them to watch Devotchka @ The Fillmore. They’re a talented bunch. The violinist plays the accordion, the drummer blows the trumpet, the susophone player handles the stand-up bass, and they had a mini orchestra. I’m happy that we got to see them perform live.
